Duties
• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per physician orders
• Position patients and operate X-ray equipment
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA standards
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment
• Verify patient identity and exam orders
• Document procedures in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate with radiologists and clinical staff
• Follow VA and ARRT standards

Requirements
• ARRT registered in Radiography
• Active state license
• BLS certification
• One year recent hospital X-ray experience
• Experience with trauma and portable imaging preferred
• Ability to pass federal background and credentialing
