Job Summary

We are seeking an X-Ray Tech/MA to join our team! Limited license OK, we are an urgent care that mainly provides Chest and Extremity X-Rays to our patients. Must have MA experience as well. This is a weekend only position, mainly Sundays.

Responsibilities

Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections

Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results

Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart

Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary

Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Splinting, DME placement

Blood draws, point of care testing, IM injections, TB skin tests, ear lavages, triage

Qualifications

Current CA X-Ray Tech license

MA certificate or state license

1+ years experience in an urgent care or PCP setting

Ability to draw blood, administer IM injections, TB tests
