We are seeking a Radiology Technician / Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, and Medical Assistant, you will have front and back office duties. For example, preparing patients for their Visits, Injections, Rooming and X-ray procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections

Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results

Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart

Registering to the EMR and verifying insurances.

Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with medical charting desired

Strong attention to detail
