    Job Summary

    Exciting Opportunity for an X-Ray Tech in Brockton! We're a brand-new urgent care facility opening soon and seeking a dynamic, patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our founding team.     Key Responsibilities:

    Diagnostic Imaging & Equipment Operation

    Perform all diagnostic x-rays as ordered by the treating provider using digital and non-digital imaging equipment in accordance with approved radiology techniques and clinic protocols.

    Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.

    Explain procedures to patients in a compassionate and professional manner.

    Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.

    Process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for physician and radiologist overreads.

    Maintain and clean x-ray equipment and x-ray rooms between patients to ensure operational readiness.

    Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, make minor repairs, and arrange for service as needed.

    Clinical & Treatment Support

    Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.

    Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care as needed.

    Assist in triaging newly registered patients.

    Direct patients to examination rooms and set up rooms based on patient complaints.

    Administrative & Cross-Functional Duties

    Greet and register patients; verify insurance, collect co-pays, and copy insurance cards.

    Complete required forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of imaging and clinical activity.

    Maintain cleanliness of patient waiting areas, exam rooms, and front office.

    Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed.

    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Meet Massachusetts state licensure requirements

    Basic understanding of digital X-ray services

    Familiarity with universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations

    Team-oriented and adaptable; able to work independently as needed
