AFC Urgent Care in Memphis is hiring a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist for a dual-role position that combines radiology + hands-on patient care. If you’re looking for a role where you’re actively involved in patient care, not just behind the machine, this is a strong fit.

What You’ll Do

X-Ray Duties

Perform diagnostic X-rays (Full Scope preferred)

Ensure proper positioning, technique, and radiation safety (ALARA)

Prepare images for provider and radiology overreads

Medical Assistant Duties

Room patients and assist providers with exams and procedures

Run point-of-care labs and support clinical workflows

Administer treatments within scope

Discharge patients and provide instructions

Team Support

Help maintain patient flow in a high-volume clinic

Assist with both clinical and front office tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

ARRT registered (or eligible) – preferred

Tennessee X-Ray License – required

Full Scope strongly preferred (Limited Scope considered with experience)

Experience in urgent care, ER, or high-volume outpatient setting is a plus

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

Willing to take on both X-ray and Medical Assistant responsibilities
