The role at a glance

Schedule: Saturday 8 AM–8 PM and/or Sunday 8 AM–5 PM. Open to one day a week or both. Flexible.

Pay: $50–65/hour, depending on experience

Setting: AFC Urgent Care Brockton, 500 Westgate Drive — modern walk-in urgent care, opened 2025

Volume: ~25–40 patient visits per shift, typically 8–15 imaging studies (mostly chest, extremity, and abdomen)

Equipment: Digital DR system

What you'll do

Perform diagnostic x-rays as ordered, using ALARA principles

Position patients, explain procedures, process images, and prep for physician overread

Maintain equipment between patients; log routine QC

Keep imaging records compliant with HIPAA and OSHA

What we need

ARRT (R) certified — required

Massachusetts radiologic technologist license — required

Comfortable with digital X-ray

Reliable weekend availability
