ABOUT THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Daily Agile Scrum meetings where you get to say what you have been working on and what you will work on
• You get to choose the task you want to work on next
• You program cool stuff
• Sometimes you will pair program. You will always collaborate with your team
• Participate in code reviews
• Work with QA to resolve bugs
• Some days we just leave the office and have fun team building activities!

QUALIFICATIONS

ABOUT YOU AND HOW YOU CAN EXCEL IN THIS ROLE

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) from four-year college or university with minimum 3.0 GPA
• 0-2 years of experience or similar ability in software development
• Have experience and ability with multiple platforms to consider yourself a full stack dev. For example: iOS, Android, Windows, Web, Web Services, etc. At least one platform plus web services.
• Working understanding and exposure to API's and consuming RESTful services
• Enjoys a fast paced, agile, challenging and team-oriented work environment
• Ability to create simple and well-designed solutions to complex software problems
• Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently based on the project requirements
• Ability to effectively and professionally interact with customers, clients, and other Xactware employees
• Fluent in: React, Javascript
• Experience in: C#, WPF, Angular, Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin; SQL, XML, JSON, MVC experience helpful
• Working knowledge of software development tools and agile processes
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Dedication to excellence and a willingness to work hard
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be coachable and collaborative
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g. smoke, regressions, component, integrations, etc.)
• Must be able to clearly define and solve problems
• Familiarity with continuous integration concepts and processes
• Ability to work in an office environment with reasonable accommodation
