    Salary up to $105K for consultant plus 10% bonus

    Salary up to $87K for analyst role plus 7.5% bonus

    Position can be remote if in Texas, Florida or Illinois

    Hybrid in Arizona

    Under broad supervision, the actuarial analyst assists in development of actuarial studies and recommendations for a product line or segment. Work is well-defined with review in progress as well as upon completion. We are seeking a candidate with vehicle service industry or property and casualty experience.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assists in basic actuarial techniques and analyses, including premium on-leveling, loss development, trend, and ultimate projection methods.
    • Participate in semi-regular studies such as earning curve studies, classing reviews
    • Update and prepare presentation exhibits for annual profitability reviews for existing products
    • Update and distribute standard monthly, quarterly or annual actuarial reports
    • Update actuarial portions of multi-department reports/projects
    • Participate in the creation of actuarial support for rate filings, complete state filing forms and participate in responses to DOI questions regarding filing support
    • Perform dealer distribution and commutation calculations and collaborate and partner with other departments as necessary
    • Provide data support to the Risk Management team and other departments
    • Provide rating support to all departments, including Dealer Management, Product Development, Compliance, and Operations

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
    • Entry level (typically up to two years of experience)
    • Actively pursuing actuarial credential in Casualty Actuarial Society

    • Ability to adapt to change and value diverse opinions and ideas
    • Ability to comprehend business data and metrics and to further articulate analyses of actuarial data within internal reports
    • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems
