The expanded capabilities, featuring advisory, consulting, and enablement services, include:

    • Pricing and Growth Analytics
    • Reserving and Claims Analytics
    • Data Sciences
    • Admitted Market Management

     

    Role and Responsibilities

    This role reports directly to the Chief Actuary and is responsible for the overall management of A&A client engagements in North America.  In addition to participating in client engagements, relationship management, solutioning and delivery of products and services, other responsibilities include:

     

    • Support the Business Development team in A&A client base expansion and pipeline management

    • Use understanding of insurance business cycles to discuss the capabilities that are top of mind of prospects/clients during presentations

    • Identify opportunities to solve prospect/client challenges with A&A services and works with the Chief Actuary on solutioning

    • Develop and nurture business relationships with A&A clients and prospects

    • Manage A&A client budget with the Account Manager

    • Operates in the capacity of the Chief Actuary for a given client

    • Demonstrate Leadership in the insurance industry via

      • Thought leadership articles and white papers
      • Presentations at industry events
      • Participate in podcast/blog discussions
      • Contributing to actuarial literature
    • Represent Xceedance at industry events

    • Being the single point of contact on A&A client engagements

    • Works collaboratively with other A&A leaders to deliver solutions that aligns with client goals

    • Manages team members through global matrix organizational structure, ensuring deliverables are completed on time

    • Peer reviews work done by other A&A team members before presenting to clients

    Experience & Qualifications

    • FCAS
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • 10 years+ of insurance industry experience
    • Effective verbal and writing communication skills
    • Experience in Personal Homeowners & Auto, Commercial Prop, GL, Auto. Exposure to other LOBs and specialty lines preferred
    • Working experience in both pricing and reserving
    • Created and presented management reports to leadership
    • Interfaced with Finance, Claims and IT on technology initiatives
    • MBA (preferred)
    • Consulting experience (preferred)
    • Reinsurance experience (preferred)
    • Demonstrated leadership in the insurance industry and/or Actuarial Society Committee (preferred)

     

    Location

    • Work from anywhere in the U.S with access to virtual workspace
    • Ability to travel 15% to 30% of the time with occasional international trip
