Cell Therapy Materials/Bioengineering Consultant (Internship)

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
We are looking for a creative, technically-minded individual with recent experience in bioengineering materials and cell biology oriented-research applications for immune cells, to join our recent Series B-funded high growth startup as a bioengineering intern. Key responsibilities will be focused on cell therapy consumable development in ex vivo cell culture applications to optimize against several user requirements, including gas permeability. This includes evaluation and testing of multiple materials (e.g., silicone, FEP, Polyolefin) and formats (e.g., hollow fiber, novel bag designs) against user requirements.
