Job Summary: Xclusive Security Services is seeking a professional and experienced Security Officer to join our company. In this role, your primary responsibility will be working a Guard House position, access control for all persons entering this high-end community in Malibu, Graveyard shift only available at this time. Strict access control and vetting all person(s) entering property for granted access into the community. To qualify for this Gate House position, applicants need a minimum of 1-3 years working inside a Guard House for gated communities, coupled with experience in operating the access control system. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety, security and operates with the utmost integrity at all times. Xclusive Security Services is a boutique Security Company. Customer Service for all potential candidates is a must for this position. Stoic personalities need not apply. We are looking for mature employees with emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrance and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the community.

Remove trespassers when necessary, and turn arrivals away from the properties that do not have authorization by the resident's who live inside this high-end community. This particular property has extremely strict access control entry.

Monitor surveillance cameras of the internal portions of the properties.

Report on daily activities and any security incidents.

Graveyard shift is only available at this time.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Guard House Security Guard working with access control programs is preferred

High school diploma/GED

High level of personal boundaries and strong communication skills are a must for this position

Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures

Excellent writing skills and report writing ability

Ability to operate surveillance equipment

High level of integrity and professionalism

Attention to detail and strong observational skills

Ability to work without direct supervision

Security Guard House experience is preferred
