Job Description
As our new DEVELOPMENT PROJECT ASSOCIATE, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of construction development projects from start to finish.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Primary support for the Development Project Managers which includes:
- Consultant contract preparation, issuance and tracking
- Development Services contract preparation, issuance and tracking
- Preparation and processing of monthly invoices (approved by DM)
- Processing of payments to consultants, as funds are received
- Maintain Bid log and issue updates to the team
- Preparation / Processing / Tracking of RFI’s, consultant COR’s & CO’s, Owner COR’s & CO’s, as approved by DM’s
- Assist with city plan check processing/permitting/entitlement- collecting redlines/comments, scanning, and distributing to consultants and resubmitting plans
- Maintenance of the Master Project schedule, including bid log and issue updates for Xebec Development Team.
- Maintain management binders (plans, CEQA documents, project schedules, etc.)
- Regular team meetings to monitor progress and submittal deadlines.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned
