Job Description

As our new DEVELOPMENT PROJECT ASSOCIATE, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of construction development projects from start to finish.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communicator
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Primary support for the Development Project Managers which includes:
  • Consultant contract preparation, issuance and tracking 
  • Development Services contract preparation, issuance and tracking
  • Preparation and processing of monthly invoices (approved by DM)
  • Processing of payments to consultants, as funds are received
  • Maintain Bid log and issue updates to the team
  • Preparation / Processing / Tracking of RFI’s, consultant COR’s & CO’s, Owner COR’s & CO’s, as approved by DM’s
• Assist with city plan check processing/permitting/entitlement- collecting redlines/comments, scanning, and distributing to consultants and resubmitting plans
• Maintenance of the Master Project schedule, including bid log and issue updates for Xebec Development Team.
• Maintain management binders (plans, CEQA documents, project schedules, etc.)
• Regular team meetings to monitor progress and submittal deadlines.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned
