Benefits for the Roofer / Construction Worker position Include:
Starting Wage: $32.00 - $36.00 an hour DOE with an annual bonus
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract” position.
Responsibilities for the Roofer / Construction Worker position Include:
Ability to work with just about every type of roofing material known including solar panels.
Ability to work on low-slope, flat roofs, or steep-slope roofs
Covering roofs and exterior walls of structures with slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and/or related materials, using brushes, knives, punches, hammers, power tools and other tools or equipment.
Cutting felt, shingles, or strips of flashing to fit angles formed by walls, vents, or intersecting roof surfaces
Removing water or debris from roofs prior to tearing off of the current roof / solar panel from customer’s homes/businesses.
Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety regulations
Maintain professional and positive interactions with all customers
Qualifications for the Roofer / Construction Worker position Include:
A minimum of 4-6 years residential construction roofing experience is required. Prefer some commercial worker experience as well.
High standard of workmanship and professionalism is a must.
Must be physically able to lift up to 80+ lbs regularly while repeatedly bending, climbing ladders, and kneeling.
Previous solar panel & inverter installation experience a big plus.
Comfortable working in hot, cold, or wet environments.
Must possess a valid driver's license with transportation to and from job sites.
