    Currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for a local HVAC company. This is a great “direct-hire” opportunity for an experienced service tech who enjoys working on their own and is interested in a long-term career position with a well established company.

    Benefits for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician / Refrigeration position includes:

    • Starting Wage: $36.00 - $44.00 an hour DOE to start

    • Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

    • This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract” position.

    Primary Responsibilities of the Commercial HVAC Service Technician / Refrigeration include:

    • Perform installs, preventive maintenance, service, and troubleshooting for commercial HVAC and refrigeration units in the Utah, Davis, and Salt Lake County areas.

    • Maintain a clean and safe job site and work vehicle.

    • Assist other technicians with trouble shooting problems.

    • Complete parts/material inventories.

    Minimum Qualifications for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician / Refrigeration include:

    • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a HVAC Service Technician Mechanic. Prefer experience with inspecting, troubleshooting and making repairs to code on commercial equipment.

    • Previous commercial refrigeration installation and service experience preferred.

    • Must be detail oriented in submitting paperwork and following work orders.

    • Previous HVAC control systems experience is required.

    • Must possess a current Utah Driver's license and have a good driving record.

    • OSHA-10 certification preferred.

    • Current Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certificate.

    • E.P.A. certified for refrigerant handling class I & II, or universal.

    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills along with superb customer service skills.

    • Ability to perform calculations necessary for HVAC work.
