    Currently seeking a motivated Production Welder/Fabricator to join a great company in the aerospace industry. The ideal applicant must be proficient in freehand fabrication and able to construct new products from prints or ideas. Previous thin gauge freehand welding experience with stainless steel or aluminum.

    Benefits of the Welder/Fabricator position include:

    • Starting Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE
    • Schedule: (Day: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm), (Night: 3:30 pm-2:30 am).
    • This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract-to-hire”

    Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator position include:

    • Set up a workstation and set up your TIG welding system properly.
    • Manually weld using the TIG, MIG, STICK, and or ARC welding processes to manufacture components, consistently maintaining appropriate production levels.
    • Read, Understand, and complete all production blueprints and paperwork.
    • Perform production quality control with calipers and squares.
    • Perform safety checks and preventative maintenance on welding equipment to assure the equipment is in good working conditions

    Requirements of the Welder position include:

    • Prefer at least 2 -5 years TIG, MIG, STICK or ARC production welding experience, certificates such as AWS, ASME is plus but not required.
    • Must have previous sheet metal welding experience and be able to hold a tight tolerance
    • Read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets & drawings. Previous caliper and square experience helpful but not required.
    • Able to set up a welder to weld on thin gauge Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel along with steel up to ½”
    • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work station
    • Work in a fast-paced production environment
