    Established Salt Lake commercial cabinetry company is in need of an experienced Project Manager. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all commercial cabinetry project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of these plans.

    The ideal candidate will have proven experience in commercial cabinetry / construction project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a big advantage.

    Benefits for the Project Manager Cabinetry Construction position include:

    • Starting Wage: $26.00 - $32.00 an hour DOE

    • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

    • This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract” position.

    Responsibilities for the Project Manager Cabinetry Construction position include:

    • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

    • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.

    • Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met in construction.

    • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards. Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant production information, budget variances & costs to complete.

    • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.

    • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

    • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables and managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.

    Requirements for the Project Manager Cabinetry Construction position include:

    • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Project Management or related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering is preferred.

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

    • A minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in commercial construction project management. Cabinetry experience preferred..

    • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.

    • Budget management experience is required.

    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, interpersonal & customer service skills, and organizational skills are a must.

    • .Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    • Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.

    • Must be able to traverse & inspect all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.

    • Travel throughout the Salt Lake area is required.

    • Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.

    • A valid Utah driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
