Currently seeking Day and Swing shift machine operators for a company that manufactures polystyrene insulation, foam blocks, and packaging insulation. This is a great long term opportunity for someone that enjoys manual labor and would like the opportunity to join a company that is becoming one of the largest polystyrene manufacturers in the nation.
As a machine operator you are operating different machines that make the foam blocks and insulation. You are also making sure the machine is running properly. Training will be provided.
Benefits of the Manufacturing Machine Operator / Production position include:
- Schedule: (1st shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM), (2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - Midnight).
- Starting Wage: $14.00-$19.00 HR
- Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, 401K, and Paid Time off.
- Bonuses: Up to $250 a month bonus for perfect attendance, quality of work and Safety.
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Machine Operator / Production position include:
- Setting-up & Operating different machines that make the product
- Inspecting for quality and making sure the product is up to standards
- Will be on your feet all shift moving around constantly and working with a variety of machines once you are fully trained.
- Maintaining and making sure machine is running properly
- General warehouse duties as needed
Requirements for the Manufacturing Machine Operator / Production position include::
- Previous manufacturing / production experience is required
- Prefer machine set-up experience.
- Proficient with shop math and understanding work orders.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Must be ok being on your feet all shift
- Be able to communicate, read and write in English
