Construction Superintendent / Roofing - $38.00 - $44.00 an hour
Well established roofing company is in need of an experienced Roofing / Construction Superintendent.
Previous superintendent experience is a must for this year round opportunity. Job sites are located all over Monterey County.
The Roofing / Construction Superintendent is responsible for leading the roofing foremen to perform work safely and productively per specifications and to the standards of the company and customer.

Starting Wage: $38.00 - $44.00 an hour DOE with an annual bonus
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract” position.
Responsibilities for the Roofing / Construction Superintendent position Include:
Supervise a team of foremen to lead safe & efficient roof system installations.
Oversee field staff, assisting foremen with crew leadership, visit job sites daily, & conduct or participate in daily safety audits.
Provide ongoing feedback to foremen regarding job performance.
Resolve complaints & grievances; assist with discipline when necessary, & discuss opportunities for professional development.
Ensure production & quality goals are met, track labor hours & production against stated goals.
Schedule materials, equipment, and deliveries, paying special attention to using inventoried materials. Monitor material usage, minimize waste, anticipate shortages and order materials as needed.
Coordinate, supervise and manage subcontractors.
Monitor quality of installations, deliver excellent customer service, and engage with customers to answer questions and provide explanations.
Qualifications for the Roofing / Construction Superintendent position Include:
Previous residential & commercial roofing superintendent experience is required. Prefer roofing and solar installation experience.
Spanish fluency is preferred.
OSHA 30-hour card and a valid California driver’s license
Computer, tablet, & smartphone proficiency is required.
Previous crane, forklift, man lift, and rigging experience is preferred.
Roof system specific training, cool roofs, CERTA, and solar experience are a plus.
