    Immediate need for an experienced Manual Machinist to run the manual lathes. The ideal Manual Machinist candidate will be experienced setting-up & running manual lathes and mills. CNC lathe or mill set-up experience is helpful along with a solid machine shop background. This is a permanent, “direct-hire”, & full-time opportunity.

    Benefits of the Machinist / Manual Lathe Machinist position include:

    • Starting Wage: $26.00 - $32.00 an hour DOE

    • Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

    • This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract-to-hire” position.

    Responsibilities for the Machinist / Manual Lathe Machinist position include:

    • Set-up & run manual lathes and mills along with other shop equipment to repair parts. You are not manufacturing parts. Each part may be different.

    • Perform finishing operations when required, such as deburring, tapping, honing, boring and bench work.

    • Follow blueprints, drawings, written and verbal work instructions to produce parts.

    • Use approved manual measuring devices & tools to inspect parts to determine required material removal.

    Qualifications for the Machinist / Manual Lathe Machinist position include:

    • A minimum of 4 - 6 years Manual Machinist experience with set up and running lathes is required. Manual Mill, Horizontal Lathe, VTL, threading, and boring is helpful.

    • CNC Lathe & Mill set-up & run experience is helpful but not required.

    • Must be proficient with manual lathe machine set-up, experience with tooling, fixtures with the ability to follow instructions per blueprints, technical drawings or work instructions is critical.

    • High school diploma or equivalent, machinist trade school, or equivalent work experience is required.

    • Prefer candidates to own their own tools, manual measuring devices, have overhead crane and/or forklift experience.

    • Steel toed boots are required.
