Civil Engineer

Wage: $40 - $50k a year DOE

Currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer looking be part of a reputable General Contractor who has over 50 years in the business. As a Civil Engineer, your duties will vary and include project management, budgeting, scheduling, and complete project design and client communication.

Responsibilities:

• Able to produce and track “request for information” RFI’s.
• Will process or assist with change orders and maintain construction drawings.
• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with subcontracting, and help schedule administration.
• Keep up-to-date on construction drawings and As-Builts.
• Maintain meeting minutes and ensures that the project sites and construction activities are being constantly documented in writing and in photos.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Civil Engineering.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four year College or University.
• Advanced knowledge of construction principles/practices required
• Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
• Experience with Prolog, PA, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office and estimating software preferred.
• Roadwork experience preferred.
• Planning Commission Preparation and Presentation.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Exceptional Organizational Skills.
• A desire to pursue PE licensure is a plus.
