    Job Description

     

    The Business Development Representative is at the forefront of the sales process. When a prospective buyer enters the sales funnel, they are first passed off to the business development team. The business development team is responsible for taking the 'marketing qualified lead' (MQL) and moving to a 'sales qualified lead' (SQL).

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

    1. Drive attendance for all XenTegra's marketing events. 
    2. Prospect into strategic business accounts via phone calls, emails, and social strategies 
    3. Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for XenTegra Client Executives 
    4. Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
    5. Training and learning the selling strategies of the core partners XenTegra enables and implements
    6. Begin to build and organize an annual book of business

     

    DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: 1.    They will drive prospects to our events, calling down lead lists that you curate. 2.    They will set meetings for the CE post-event based on various campaigns and goals. 3.    They will perform call downs for vendor campaigns. 4.    They will assist with email blasts and content creation. 5.    They will assist with deal registrations. 6.    Leverage key tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Pardot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Seamless.ai 7.    Learning the various partners that XenTegra enables and implements

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Candidate must have prior experience with phone selling and prospecting. An ideal candidate would come with selling experience in the technology vertical. Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pardot, and Seamless.ai is not required, but ideal. An understanding Citrix, VMware, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft WVD, IGEL, Nutanix, End-User Computing, and Cloud Computing is nice to have, but not required.
