ABOUT THE STUDIO @ XO BRANDED CONTENT INTERNSHIP: Our paid internship program will give you the opportunity to gain invaluable on-the-job experience in branded content at the premier consumer internet, tech and media company devoted to weddings, pregnancy and everything in between. You can expect to work closely with our branded content editors to learn a great deal about the wedding & baby media and online marketplace industries, experience what it is like to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and network with our teammates and awesome interns from all around the world! The Studio @ XO is the in-house creative and production agency ideating and executing branded editorial, digital, video and social content across XO Group. Made up of creatives, marketers, editors, producers, writers, designers, technologists, tastemakers and storytellers, The Studio @ XO produces revenue generating content that serves XOs audience and those who want to connect with them RESPONSIBILITIES: * Brainstorm branded content ideas for articles, infographics, quizzes, influencers, videos and more in response to RFPs * Conduct research and interview sources * Write online content for our suite of sites and apps * Photo research and cropping as needed * Build content in our CMS * Monitor campaign analytics as needed. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: The right candidate for this position will be smart, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, a problem solver, a go-getter and, above all, a team player * You are super-organized and deadline-oriented: * Youll be working with a small team who are juggling multiple projects for multiple national clients * Youre an amazing writer and have experience and interest in the topics we cover on The Knot, The Nest, The Bump and How He Asked * You have basic knowledge of Google Docs, Adobe Photoshop, SEO and working in a CMS * You thrive in a fast-paced environment: You work quickly (and accurately) and love a challenge * Undergraduate emphasis in journalism, English, marketing or communications (if you have published clips, wed love to see a few!) You must be enrolled in a Bachelors program or be a recent grad to apply. This is a paid internship and school credit is optional.
