    Headquartered in Los Angeles with operations throughout the country, Xos, Inc. (Xos) is a mobility solutions company providing battery-electric vehicle platforms as well as a broad range of fleet products that assist customers in operating their fleets and transitioning to electrification. The Company was founded in 2016 by a pair of former fleet operators, who witnessed firsthand both the operational issues and regulatory headwinds diesel fleets are facing. After only a few years of operations, Xos is one of the few OEMs with battery-electric vehicles on the road with some of the largest fleets in the world including UPS and Loomis and has established a robust partnership network with industry leaders such as DLL, Metalsa, and Dickinson Fleet Services. As the Company looks to expand its product offering and global footprint, were looking to bring on passionate talented individuals to help in our mission to reduce and eliminate greenhouse gas emissions through commercial vehicle electrification.

    Xos is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Software team to develop our customer-facing fleet management platform helping fleets optimize their operations. As a key part of our lean and agile Software team, you will be involved in all aspects of the development process including architecting design, developing applications, and testing and deployment. You will also have the opportunity to engage with management, product and marketing to collaborate on product strategy, design and features.     REQUIREMENTS

    ,3+ years experience in front-end and back-end software development, preferably at a high growth technology company Experience building fast, reliable and scalable web applications and/or SaaS platforms with modern Javascript frameworks and tooling (e.g. React, Vue, Angular, etc.) Experience with containers (Docker preferred) A strong foundation of design principles, especially as it relates to platform development (API, data modeling, scale, etc.) Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth entrepreneurial environment

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Contribute to all aspects of the end-to-end development process including architecting, developing, reviewing, testing, and deploying key applications and technologies
    • Build aesthetic and modern user interfaces that blow away the legacy platform products that are widely used in the trucking industry today
    • Apply software engineering best practices to create a solid foundation for product scale and expansion as well as increase the reliability and maintainability of our code base
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to define features and functionality that improve the customer experience and add value
    • Proactively seek out areas within the organization to apply technology to create greater effectiveness and efficiencies
