    Job Description

     

    GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

    • Under direct supervision, assembles and maintains complete medical records according to established procedures.
    • Files and retrieves patient records; prepares new files; may open and distribute mail.
    • Organizes and evaluates patient medical records.
    • Reviews medical records for accuracy and completeness.
    • Responsible for filing and retrieving medical records.

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 12 months experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred.

Excellent verbal, writing and telephone skills. Ability to plan and organize work. Skilled in various computer medical software. Medical terminology. Knowledge of various medical procedures. Excellent customer service skills. Required: CA LVN License, Current BLS Preferred: Ortho Tech, CA Medical Assistant Certificate Preferred: One year medical office experience

    1. intermediate experience with Excel using large data sets
    2. intermediate experience with detail oriented analysis of Data, detail oriented review of data, and detail oriented verification of data
    3. intermediate experience with analyzing reports, reviewing reports, and verifying reports
    4. intermediate experience with Mapping data from a data source into a common data warehouse data model
    5. intermediate experience with Communicating with data source owners
    6. intermediate experience with the concepts of Relational databases
    7. intermediate experience with analyzing Business processes
