THE OPPORTUNITY

Aloha!  We are conducting a search for an AMI-TRAINED TODDLER MONTESSORI GUIDE for Hala Kahiki Montessori School of Lāna'i. 

The island of Lana'i is paradise on earth.  Unlike other Hawaiian islands, it is only lightly developed.  With clean air, pristine beaches, and abundant wildlife, Lanai'i abounds with natural, sun-kissed beauty.  Lana'i is the serene home to just 3,500 people and is the embodiment of small-town life. 

Through your efforts, children will fulfill their developmental potential with authentically prepared, exceptionally executed Montessori.  Designed to serve 8 children, Hala Kahiki's Toddler classroom is bathed in natural light and features a complete set of Montessori materials.  The campus is brand-new and was designed and built to the highest standards of quality.

INVITATION TO APPLY

We encourage you to apply if you:

• Have earned an AMI assistants-to-infancy diploma;
• Are experienced working with children aged 0 - 3; and
• Are available to join our ohana in Summer 2023

We may prefer you over other candidates if you:

• Live in or grew up in Hawai'i;
• Have a strong appreciation for and understanding of Hawaiian culture;
• Have earned bachelor's and/or master's degrees in any subject;
• Have five or more years' experience as a Montessori guide;
• Are a US citizen or green cardholder (under certain conditions, we may sponsor non-US persons for work authorization);
• Have interesting hobbies, skills, and life experiences.
