We are conducting a nationwide search for three MONTESSORI GUIDES to lead their own Casa dei Bambini classrooms.  Through your efforts, children will fulfill their developmental potential with authentically prepared, exceptionally executed Montessori.  You will have a full set of high-quality materials along with additional resources to make your classroom as unique as you are.

ABOUT DISCOVERY

Discovery is a collaboration between Xplor Education and a groundbreaking Southern California aerospace company to form an innovative Montessori community for children of the partner-company’s employees.  While their parents develop the breakthroughs that will one day make life multiplanetary, their children will grow into the next generation of innovators in a way that only authentic Montessori can provide.  Enrollment at Discovery is exclusively for children of the partner-company’s employees and is not open to the general public.   

Discovery is now in development and scheduled to open this fall at our partner’s headquarters – a thrilling, energetic place that embraces the spirit of Montessori.  Discovery will become a vibrant Montessori community for children aged 10 weeks to 6 years.  Spacious interiors with high ceilings and natural finishes evoke the warm, home-like feel that is the hallmark of Montessori.  Outside, a lovely oasis will provide ample opportunities for exploration, play and gross motor development.

INVITATION TO APPLY

We encourage you to apply if you:

• Have earned an AMI primary diploma and bachelor’s degree in any subject;

• Are experienced working with children aged 2½  – 6 years old;

• Are a US citizen or green cardholder (though we may consider visa sponsorship for the right candidate); and

• Are available to join Discovery with a start date between August 6th and 27th, 2018.

We would prefer you over other candidates if you:

• Live in Southern California;
• Have five or more years’ experience as a Montessori guide;
• Have more than one AMI Montessori diploma;
• Have outstanding academic credentials such as an M.Ed., a degree from a prestigious college or university, and/or graduation with honors at any level; and/or
• Have interesting hobbies, skills, and life experiences,
