THE OPPORTUNITY

Aloha!  We are conducting a search for an AMI-TRAINED PRIMARY MONTESSORI GUIDE for a new, high-quality Montessori school in Lana'i, Hawai'i, scheduled to open in January 2022.

The island of Lana'i is paradise on earth.  Unlike other Hawaiian islands, it is only lightly developed.  With clean air, pristine beaches, and abundant wildlife, Lanai'i abounds with natural, sun-kissed beauty.  Lana'i is the serene home to just 3,500 people and is completely COVID-free. 

Through your efforts, children will fulfill their developmental potential with authentically prepared, exceptionally executed Montessori.  As a member of the school's founding team, you will have the additional privilege of helping to design your environments and shape the school into one of the world's finest.

INVITATION TO APPLY

We encourage you to apply if you:

• Have earned an AMI primary diploma;
• Are experienced working with children aged 2½  - 6 years old; and
• Are available to join our ohana (family) in Summer 2021

We may prefer you over other candidates if you:

• Live in or grew up in Hawai'i;
• Have a strong appreciation for and understanding of Hawaiian culture;
• Have earned bachelor's and/or master's degrees in any subject;
• Have five or more years' experience as a Montessori guide;
• Are a US citizen or green cardholder (under certain conditions, we may sponsor non-US persons for work authorization); and
• Have interesting hobbies, skills, and life experiences.
