    Shift and Schedule - 8 hour shift Monday to Friday

    Classic Car Restoration Technician/Mechanic

    In this busy classic car restoration shop, you will report to the Shop Owner and use your skills and experience to produce the highest quality results possible. This is an opportunity for the right person to grow with the business and share in its success.

    Responsibilities:

    Vehicle diagnostics and assessment

    Repair of major and minor mechanical components to include, overall engine, suspension, brake, electrical, fuel systems, and interior mechanical systems

    Vehicle disassembly

    Careful documentation and storage of all parts

    Accurately rebuild major mechanical components according to technical specifications and best practices

    Vehicle reassembly to highest possible standards

    Clean, wash and detail exterior, interior, and engine bay of cars

    Communicate directly with the management team on issues and priorities

    Perform vehicle inspections and assist in the development of proposals

    Assist in identifying parts requirements and sources

    Maintain a clean and safe work environment

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5 years working in an automotive shop in a similar role

    Experience with repairing and maintaining classic automobiles

    Detailed oriented and good organization skills

    Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and identify solutions

    Automotive certifications a plus

    Must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills

    Hourly rate commensurate with experience

    Experience:

    Classic Car Repairs/Restorations: 5 years (Required)

    Automotive paint and body work experience a plus

    Previous automotive detailing experience a plus

    Requirements:

    Applicant must own their own automotive tools

    Satisfactory completion of a background check is a requirement for employment

    License/Certification:

    ASE Certification (a plus)

    Driver's License (Clean Drivers Record Required)

    Physical Demands: Able to perform basic physical activities related to automotive repair shop operations.
