Classic Car Paint Shop Technician

In this busy classic car restoration shop, you will report to the Shop Owner and use your skills and experience to produce the highest quality results possible. This is an opportunity for the right person to grow with the business and share in its success.

Responsibilities:

· Experience in body restoration, paint, sanding, and body filler work

· Familiar with original specification quality automotive finishes

· Work with two-part enamels, two stage urethane systems

· PPG Experience a plus

· Show preparation and finishing detailing

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years working in an automotive shop in a similar role

Experience doing paint and body work on classic automobiles

Detailed oriented and good organization skills

Automotive refinishing certification a plus

Must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills

Compensation:

Hourly rate commensurate with experience

Experience:

Minimum of 2 year's experience as an automotive paint/body technician required.

Welding and metal fabrication experience a plus

Classic Car Repairs/Restorations a plus

Previous automotive detailing experience a plus

Requirements:

Applicant must own their own automotive tools

Satisfactory completion of a background check is a requirement for employment

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Clean Drivers Record Required)

Physical Demands: Able to perform basic physical activities related to automotive repair shop operations.
