    Job Description

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    This is an entry level position where you will support the service and operational functions of the firm. The right individual will have a client-first attitude and a desire to work in a team-based environment. We are a small office where everyone is responsible for learning the client service functions and portfolio management and custodian platforms.

    _ THE CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE WILL: _ *

    • Prepare and process paperwork and manage the workflow of opening new client accounts. Responsible for responding to service alerts and following up with our custodian partners.

    • Act as the “quarterback” for incoming client requests (i.e. process money movement requests, charitable giving requests, beneficiary updates, change of address, etc.).

    • Responsible for data gathering, analysis, and report generation for client meetings.

    • Maintain up to date client information in the firm’s CRM. Assist with scheduling client meetings as needed.

    • Assist with trading under the guidance and supervision of the firm’s Portfolio Managers

    • Responsible for the firm’s social media marketing strategy. Help with the development of monthly blog and quarterly newsletter content. Opportunity to create and execute new marketing strategies to attract new clients.

    • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Series 65 required (or to be obtained within 60 days). Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Business Administration or Finance preferred. Will consider candidates with prior work experience in office administration.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products required.

    • Must be a team player with a client first attitude and desire to work in a small company environment

    • Demonstrates excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills.

    • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and project management skills to oversee the progress of firm projects; ability to multi-task while maintaining quality of work.

    • Highly adaptive and responsive to changing needs and deadlines of the firm.
