  • Responsibilities

    This is a professional position involving application Business process review and analysis in PeopleSoft HCM. Contractor works as part of a team of Business Analysts responsible for ensuring that service goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time parameters, budget, for the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application.  Working as part of a team, this person provides end user business process analysis support, documentation, builds process models, and tests process models, as needed with the goal of making each business process as efficient as possible.

     

     

     

    Required Skills

    FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and recommendations for potential solutions

    • Identifies and develops improvements to HR/payroll/benefits systems, processes, policies, and tools.

    • Proactively evaluates process efficiency, compliance, and customer service performance gaps and risks within the a number of business processes within the implemented PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM application using a standardized set of principles and methodology.

    • Guides current  discovery efforts, facilitates design sessions, and develops documentation for new processes

    • 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll technical development consultant experience with PeopleSoft clients.

    • 2+ years of public sector/higher education experience 

    • PeopleSoft 9.x experience.

    • Facilitate all activities in the entire project life cycle, including definition of objectives and scope, plan development, task definition, forming project teams, coordinating and meeting with stakeholders and participants, monitoring progress, driving progress through to completion, status reporting, and project documentation

    • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations.

    • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement

    • Regularly review project metrics and time line to ensure appropriate progress, especially related to longer-term projects

    • Functional understanding of key processes in HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management, ESS, MSS, and North American Payroll modules is required

    • Experience with the following: Integration Broker, Application Security, Self Service configuration, AWE is preferred

    SOFT SKILLS

    • Strong problem solving experience.
    • Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting presentations and advising support team on application issues.
    • Assist in planning production roll-out and deployment related activities.
    • Create and maintain documentation and standards.
    • Create and maintain thorough and complete documentation of all ERP PeopleSoft customizations and application releases.

    The project will require time on-site at  University project location, although testing will occur in Athens Georgia.
