SUPPORTING/ASSISTING THE CAMP PROGRAM DIRECTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A PORTION OF CAMP OPERATIONS. LEADS AND DIRECTS THE SUPERVISION OF CAMPERS AND STAFF IN ALL DAILY ACTIVITIES AND OPERATIONS. PROVIDES LEADERSHIP TO ASSIGNED SEGMENTS OF CAMP FACILITY/SITE DEVELOPMENT, CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS AND PROGRAMMING TO ENSURE A QUALITY CAMP EXPERIENCE. DEMONSTRATES THE Y'S COMMITMENT TO ITS CORE VALUES OF RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, HONESTY, AND CARING IN ALL ACTIONS TO SERVE AS A ROLE MODEL.
The candidate is a highly energetic leader. They possess good communications skills both written and verbal. They are able to supervise, coach, delegate to, and discipline the staff they supervise to ensure a safe and happy camp environment. They are a good listener, solutions oriented, and able to create and execute a plan for any assigned projects.
Will assist Camp Program Director in the management a camp enrollment of 30-300 campers, supervise a staff of 5-70 staff, and be responsible for monitoring a portion of the total budget including payroll and program supplies. Willing to work at multiple camp locations within the same region.
Accountable for completion of assigned goals as measured by the number of people served, cause driven measures, service satisfaction scores, operating results, and supervisor evaluation of assigned duties.
