As a Forensic Animator you’ll be creating 3D forensic animations for litigation matters involving vehicular/pedestrian crashes. Due to the legal factors pertaining to the work, forensic animator must be able to create animations with precise technical accuracy and detail. Responsibilities

• -Ability to accurately depict and animate causal factors leading to an accident.
• -Produce animations of crime scenes and vehicular accidents in a 3D environment.
• -Building accident scenes in 3D models for litigation cases.
• -Demonstrative animation to assist with litigation support and accident reconstruction.
• -3D animations and demonstratives for litigation support of accident reconstruction.
• -Collaborate with the engineering team to refine details of accidents, sketches, and create rendition of accidental event.
• -Review case materials via photo matching, surveyed data, and environmental scans to get an understanding of accident details.
• -Modeling environments and 3D models from point cloud.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience.
• 3D Studio Max or similar 3D software experience required.
• Real-time rendering engine (Unity / Unreal) experience preferred.
• Forensic video analysis experience is a plus.
• Location: Santa Ana, CA (hybrid)
• Acute attention to detail.
• Precise understanding and recreation of forensic details.
• Litigation/engineering/medical modeling and animations background are ideal.
