    Job Description

    YAI's Human Resources department is currently seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist for Hudson Valley, NY. The HR Onboarding Specialist will work closely with HR Managers, Assistant Directors, and Program Managers to provide support in scheduling applicants and processing and Onboarding new hires.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Processes all new hire paperwork, communicates status to supervisors, and maintains databases.

    • Participates in recruitment effort; assists onboarding; processes new hire forms and paperwork.

    • Responds to all general HR inquiries, audits, and requests.

    • Processes Justice Center background checks; communicates status to supervisors; maintains clearance database; conducts safety assessment.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS, related experience preferred

    • Strong presentation skills and customer service

    • Human Resources experience preferred

    • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task

    • Excellent customer service

    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and ATS software and other platforms

    • Ability to work with all levels of staff

    • Must be able to travel to Westchester and Rockland Counties for HR related events when needed

    SCHEDULE:

    • Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm ( flexibility required)
