JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Here at YAPI, we specialize in the development and implementation of software that assists with streamlining the daily operations of any dental practice. Our user-friendly designs and real-time applications allow dental offices to increase interpersonal relations with their patients.
The Operations Specialist is a fundamental member of the YAPI Operations team, responsible for ensuring the overall health of our customer success function and the greater business. As the Operations Specialist, you’ll work with stakeholders across the company and leverage your problem-solving prowess to develop workflows, optimize processes, and prepare internal training materials and documentation. As the Operations Specialist, you will solve process challenges to find new operational efficiencies to grow our rapidly evolving business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investigate process successes and breakdowns to identify opportunities for improvement in current workflows
Assist the Operations Manager to develop, workshop, and implement refined workflows and processes
Maintain an updated CRM
Provide post-mortem reporting after process/workflow changes to provide executives with visibility into individual performance and the overall health of the organization
Collaborate with Department Leads to identify and delegate employee and departmental tasks/projects based on company needs
Conduct internal audits to improve employee quality and productivity company-wide
Work with members of our customer success, technical support, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product development and assist in the company-wide success
Keep up to date with current market trends and industry forecasts
Additional tasks as related to the company’s operational success, as assigned by the Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years of SaaS experience required
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Technical zeal and quality focus
Project Management, PMP certification is a plus
Expert written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively present information and answer technically complex questions in terms that easily comprehended
Great interpersonal and presentation skills for interaction with all levels of management
Experience with prioritizing in a fast-paced work environment
Comfortable with learning new technologies and solutions quickly
Understanding of tier support processes
Strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of Operating Systems and Internet Technology, is highly desired
Degree in Communications, Computer Science, Business, or Marketing is preferred
Familiarity with SalesForce, Zendesk, Microsoft Suite, G-Suite, Asana, Internal CRM, Chargebee, and/or JIRA a plus
Experience in the dental industry is a plus!
