Job Title: Youth Programs Coordinator Job Family: Child Care & Camp
Position Summary:
Responsible for the planning, development, and supervision of all youth programs associated with the Mattapoisett YMCA including camp and school age childcare programs.
Essential Functions:
Working under the direction of the Child Care & Camp Director(s), duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Direct and supervise youth program staff (camp, school age childcare, & misc. youth programs)
· Staff selection and development.
· Prepare weekly staff schedules and responsibilities.
· Program development and quality improvement
· Maintains accurate records and files of enrolled children & staff.
· Maintain program standards (YMCA, Department of Early Education & Care, Department of Public Health)
· Family communication and engagement.
· Monitors areas for cleanliness, safety, and general appearance.

Qualifications:
· Educational requirements according to EEC regulations.
· Current knowledge and understanding of state and YMCA standards and regulations specific to early education and child-care and camp.
· Ability to effectively interact with children and parents on a range of issues.
· Experience working with school age children
· Ability to supervise, provide development opportunities, and evaluate staff.
· Ability to provide administrative support including record keeping and budget maintenance.
· Ability to contribute to creative efforts of the program and related YMCA activities including fundraising and communications.
