  • Responsibilities

    The YMCA of Central Texas is currently seeking a professional, energetic, compassionate, and creative leader to join our team of educators as an Toddler Teacher! As a Lead Teacher, your focus is to develop and guide your class with enthusiasm, patience, positive guidance techniques, and an open heart.

    The shift will be Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 6:00pm.

    Location: 14014 Thermal Dr, Austin, TX 78728

    Job responsibilities include:

    • Create a developmentally appropriate program for our students
    • Develop weekly lesson plans, activities and class set-ups
    • Work closely with families to encourage mutual cooperation
    • Ensure the safety of all children in our program
    • Closely follow licensing regulations related to child care

    Requirements:

    • Experience working in a licensed childcare center
    • Passionate about the development and well-being of children
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting

    Pay Rate: $16.00 to $22.00/hour
