Job Description
The purpose of the position will be to provide a broad training experience outlining the YMCA's mission and its impact on the community and the associated non-profit operational practices/procedures that support these efforts. Specific information technology training, tasks and special projects will provide practical and real life experience with non-profit information technology, and IT integration with administrative services and operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this project, the intern is frequently required to sit for great lengths of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Position may require some periods of standing and walking. The intern must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Able to properly set up and stand on ladders work overhead and at ground level, climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, working in narrow spaces, and twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
PROJECT ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this project, the intern primarily works in an office environment but is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts associated with fitness and commercial cleaning equipment. The noise level in the work environment can vary from quiet to moderate during office hours and moderate to loud during event hours.
