    Yale Appliance is a retailer based out of Stoughton, Massachusetts* with a total of 7 locations. We are looking for a competent retail inventory specialist to assist with our Inventory Operations. A successful/ideal inventory specialist is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset.

    *Please note that we are moving to Norton, MA at the end of 2023.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Maintain accurate inventory location reporting, including showroom inventory

    · Coordinate with Purchasing Department to determine adequate inventory levels based upon historical sales data

    · Responsible for improving inventory turns YoY

    · Manage returns and exchanges

    · Mitigate obsolete inventory

    · Coordinate, plan and manage monthly cycle counts and provide adjustments as necessary to the Finance team

    · Responsible for coordinating and managing year-end inventory count with outside Auditors

    · Collaborates with warehouse, purchasing and other departments to ensure business goals are met

    · Records daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory

    · Responsible for all inventory including all floor inventory at the stores, warehouse inventory on and off premises.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Working knowledge of inventory management software (ePASS)

    Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports

    An analytical mind with strong math skills

    Excellent organizational and planning skills

    Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

    Reliable and trustworthy

    Travel amongst locations periodically or as needed

    WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Must have the ability to both sit and stand for a significant portion of the working day.

    Must be able to bend, lift and carry products up to 20 pounds with no physical assistance.

    Must be able to verbally communicate in English, read and follow written instruction or documentation in English.

    Must have good short range, distance, and peripheral vision.

    Forklift experience preferred

    Valid Driver’s License required

    Must consent to a criminal background check, driving record check, drug testing, and pre employment physical
