    Exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative behavioral health team within Yamhill Community Care (YCCO).  As a Behavioral Health and Integration Specialist II (BHIS II) the successful applicant will use their clinical knowledge and system improvement skills to support the YCCO’s behavioral health network, ensure YCCO contract compliance, and assist in ongoing system transformation. YCCO is looking for applicants that have experience in community behavioral health, thorough knowledge of the full continuum of care, understanding of Medicaid managed care, and a passion for system improvement and whole person health integration. Ability to work well as part of a team and comfortable working within a Matrix model of task assignments is highly important.

    Experience & Education:

    Required:

    • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related healthcare field; AND
    • 5 years’ related experience.

    Preferred:

    • 3 years’ experience in community behavioral health direct service.
    • Experience in quality and/or project management.
    • Experience in administering Oregon Health Plan (OHP) benefits/managed care.
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent license.

    JOB DUTIES

    • Collaborates in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive health service delivery system that provides high quality and cost-effective service to YCCO members.
    • Provides behavioral health and integration subject matter expertise across various function areas within YCCO.
    • Actively follows behavioral health best practices and professional code of conduct/ethics.
    • Ensures integration of work between program functional areas and promotes effective communications within YCCO and between external partners and providers.
    • Assists with development and implementation of processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements including but not limited to access, quality, program integrity, quality of clinical care, utilization, and compliance with OARs and other regulatory standards.
    • Develops trust/credibility and collaborates with YCCO providers and other community partners.
    • Provides content expertise and technical assistance to Yamhill Community Care’s behavioral health and physical health provider organizations.
    • Provides clinical and other support for innovative initiatives to support delivery system transformation.
    • Identifies opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    • Works collaboratively in a team/matrixed environment.
    • Assists team members and offer suggestions to improve processes, culture, and/or work environment.
    • Respectfully takes direction from Behavioral Health and Integration Director and matrixed managers/supervisor(s).
    • Adheres to YCCO policy and procedures and standards of operations.
    • Functions successfully within a Matrix model.
    • Prepares reports and other documents as assigned.
    • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related healthcare field with a minimum of five years’ related experience. Minimum three years’ experience in community behavioral health direct service, preferred. Experience in quality and/or project management, preferred. Experience in administering Oregon Health Plan benefits/managed care, preferred.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND/OR REGISTRATIONS

    Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent license, preferred. Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or access to an insured vehicle, required.
