About the Role:

Join Kibler Lumber Do It Center as a Yard Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in our bustling lumber yard. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy working with a team dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in loading and unloading lumber and building materials.

Maintain a clean and organized yard to ensure safety and efficiency.

Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and effectively.

Stock and inventory materials, ensuring accurate counts and availability.

Provide exceptional customer service and support to all visitors.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Assist in the preparation of orders for delivery or pickup.

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a warehouse or lumber yard environment is a plus.

Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely (certification preferred).

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors.

Basic math skills for inventory management.

Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
