Yard Associate – Lumberyard Division

Are you a hands-on, hardworking individual who enjoys staying active and working outdoors? We’re seeking a Yard Associate to join our growing lumberyard team. In this role, you’ll help keep our yard running smoothly, provide excellent customer service, and ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

Greet and assist customers, helping them find the right materials and answering questions with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment for both customers and team members.

Load and unload customer vehicles, trucks, and trailers, ensuring accuracy and careful handling of materials.

Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move, stack, and organize lumber and building materials.

Conduct regular inventory checks to help keep stock accurate and organized.

Support team members with a variety of yard tasks as needed.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

A candidate with a strong work ethic and a customer-first mindset.

Experience in building materials, construction, or a lumberyard environment preferred.

Willingness to learn about our products and how they’re used.

Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.

Forklift experience is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate.
