We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Jockey to join our transportation team in Rome, GA. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of materials between company facilities and designated delivery points. This role requires a dependable professional with a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations.
• Load and unload materials as needed, ensuring product accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery paperwork, and other documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• ** Clean driving record** and current DOT medical card.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Schedule & Pay

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional overtime may be required)
