About the Role:

Join DICK WILLIAMS INC. as a Yard Person/ Equipment Operator/ Welder in Fort Myers, FL, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and organized yard environment. This position offers a work environment where your contributions will directly impact our daily ground operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and equipment.

Safely operate an excavator, front-end loader and other yard machinery

Conduct regular inspections of yard equipment and tools for safety compliance.

Preform torch welding, cutting and basic fabrication or repair tasks

Manage yard organization ensure efficient yard operations.

Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to management.

Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements:

Proficiency in torch welding and basic metal cutting/joining techniques.

Previous experience in yard maintenance or similar role is a plus.

Strong focus on safety, punctuality, and a solid work ethic.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Must possess your own basic hand tools and standard welding gear.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
