Check us out at www.YayaTea.com We're looking to add to our Yaya family & are searching for individuals that: are passionate about tea, coffee, and Asian food are fun & take pride in their quality & service have amazing customer service & sales skills are self-motivated & can work confidently in a fast-paced environment are punctual, & professional with attention to detail have the ability to work independently with little to no supervision & to be able to contribute to a positive team environment! This position entails, but is not limited to: - Understand how to operate a pos system - Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation - Prepare & serve simple foods, such as onigiri (riceballs), appetizers, & more - Be knowledgeable of products to promote to customers based on customer preferences & or dietary needs - Receive & process customer payments - Ensure all orders are completed before bagging & handing out to customers or delivery drivers - Prepare & stock up on all bar and food station items - Stock up on inventory & replenish where needed from utensils, sauces, take-out boxes, &, etc. - Set up or restock product displays from snacks to company merchandise - Prepare & serve a variety of hot or cold beverages, such as milk teas, coffee, & more - Clean & sanitize all service & work areas, utensils, equipment, & more - Dispose of the trash & recycle in the appropriate bins - Create signs to advertise store products or events - Adhere to all company & health regulation policies Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years old - Full time: required to work 30-40 hours per week (one opening, one closing, one-weekend shift) - Part-time: required to work 10 hours a week minimum - Must have a flexible schedule & to be able to work during the holidays - Be comfortable in lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds - Must be comfortable working closely with others, be team-oriented, & capable of working alone - Ability to follow directions and take initiative to complete tasks without direct follow-up - Basic retention of knowledge & studying skills - Prefer, but not required to have at least 6 months of experience in the food industry & or with Asian food Benefits: - Store discounts on all store products - Food & drinks provided during break - Daily shared tips - Team holiday parties & team gifts - Growth potential for those who demonstrate an intent to strive for excellence - Be a part of an amazing & supportive team - Free parking - Servsafe Certification/Food Handling License (terms & conditions applies) - Growth within the company!
