YESCO (MYRTLE BEACH-CHARLESTON) is a small, yet rapidly growing sign and lighting franchise located in Myrtle Beach, SC. We're seeking a professional Account Executive to join our sales team. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience, ability, and drive to meet company sales objectives. Our business model is structured with approximately 80% inside sales. New sales opportunities (patrols) are provided on a daily basis. This position will require some fieldwork. We're looking for someone with a passion for building professional relationships with our clients and team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account Executives are responsible for developing and maintaining customer marketing lists and coordinating marketing eBlasts with the corporate office
- Developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Documenting proposals and contracts
- Meeting monthly and annual sales targets
- Develop expertise in the sign and lighting industry
- Use sales strategy to close deals
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and customer service skills
- High energy, enthusiastic, and motivated demeanor
- Performance-driven and team-focused attitude
- Present and sell products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest project developments
- Create sales material to present to customers
- Any other marketing or sales tasks as assigned by company leadership.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or business is preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply specification documents, government coding document information, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply geometric and algebraic mathematical calculations
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of electrical sign service. Completion of the YESCO or other electrical sign service apprenticeship program; or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully complete assigned tasks.
- Intermediate computer skills: We utilize Google workplace, and Servizio - desk-top and mobile applications
- Ability to communicate effectively- Verbal and Written Communication
- Must have a state-issued driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to move, lift, and carry materials, equipment, parts, and completed projects. Must be able to move objects in excess of 75 lbs occasionally.
