    Job Title: Sales Associate

    POSITION:

    YogaSix Hyde Park is hiring a sales associate to act as a brand ambassador in order to drive sales and help build high visibility of the YogaSix Hyde Park studio throughout the presale process. This individual will drive sales and set a positive energy and tone with prospective members and the broader Hyde Park community for the YogaSix brand. This position is hourly with commission. The brand ambassador position can evolve into a permanent position focused on day-to-day operations, membership, and retail sales once the YogaSix Hyde Park studio opens.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable self-starter
    • Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
    • Sales and/or marketing experience a plus
    • Must be fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work hard, multi-task, and problem solve
    • Possess honesty and personal integrity
    • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills 
    • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships and retail
    • Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system

     

    DUTIES

    • Champion the YogaSix brand and build rapport in the Hyde Park community 
    • Plan and represent YogaSix at grassroots events
    • Generate individual, corporate, and business-to-business leads and relationships
    • Leverage YogaSix Hyde Park social media platforms to drive engagement and support membership sales process
    • Follow the YogaSix sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close both over the phone and in person
    • Sell corporate & individual memberships to qualified prospects to meet or exceed personal monthly goals & studio goals

    PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employee must be able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week including nights and weekends, especially during presale and peak activity periods. 
    • May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

     

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

    • Hourly rate based on experience 
    • Commission paid on sales
    • Opportunity to earn additional bonus based on performance
