YOH has a contract opportunity for a SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST with our client in the entertainment industry located in Culver City, CA.

• This is a 4 month contract with the potential of extension
• Pay Rate: $36.00 - $50.00/hr DOE
• Hybrid:  3 - 4 days a week in office in Culver City

OVERVIEW: Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to assist with the financial reporting for the Original Programming division. With a clear understanding of the industry, this position acts as a business knowledgeable advisor by preparing and reviewing forecasts, budgets, long range plans and financial or business analyses that demonstrate the underlying key business drivers and the ultimate impact on the business unit. The position requires a highly motivated individual that can interact well with co-workers and senior management. This position will report to the Director of Finance. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and communicate monthly financial forecasts and monthly variance reports related to the P&L and cash flow
• Participate in the budget and long-range plan
• Work directly with the Accounting group during month end close
• Reconcile general ledger activity to production cost schedules for series
• Act as the liaison between Accounting and Finance on a day-to-day basis
• Process and input invoices into procure-to-pay system to ensure monthly cash flow targets are met
• Work directly with Production Finance to ensure accuracy of production costs
• Stay informed and engaged in current landscape of the television industry including new trends in the marketplace

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related area
• Minimum of 4 years prior work experience in private and/or public accounting, finance, consulting, or banking
• MBA or CPA a plus
• Financial database experience preferred (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Hyperion, TM1)
• Previous entertainment industry experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Excellent written/oral communication and financial presentation skills
• Strategic thinker and problem solver with high attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
