    Job Description

    REMOTE - SENIOR WEB OPERATIONS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh’s client WORKING REMOTE.

    THE BIG PICTURE – TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Five (5) to ten (10) years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions / business units preferred.
    • Five (5) plus years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
    • Five (5) years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
    • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in one or more roles in an online ecommerce or online support environments.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    • The Sr. Web Operations Analyst will: write scripts to analyze data, and perform specific data queries; analyze web traffic, on-site behavior, and business trends using clickstream tools, business intelligence tools, and other internal reporting to derive actionable information and learning; diagnose and resolve issues with data and databases, removing irrelevant information to free database space; streamline information by collecting, adding and integrating data from multiple data sets into a single database system; design reports to show statistics and other information about specific database topics; analyze A/B and multivariate tests for statistically significant outcome; maintain and modify all types of complex systems and integrated subsystems; formulate requirements; conduct feasibility studies, analyze results; and develop opportunity assessments and estimate business impact.
    • The Sr. Web Analyst must be an exceptionally good problem solver, able to glean core issues and recommend efficient, targeted approaches to solve those issues.

    • Produces weekly, monthly reports (excel, BI tools, clickstream analytics).
    • Develops web behavior and business metrics dashboards
    • Develops, refines audience segments
    • Analyzes website/mobile behavior and customer experience
    • Develops data consolidation and validation models
    • Understands relevant tech applications such as tagging, tracking, page load performance; owns implementation of tagging and tracking parameters
    • Develops analytics business requirements synthesized primarily from SEO lead, web product managers and web producers
    • Using data analytical skills and expertise, provides insights, recommended actions to leverage or address findings
    • Applies deep understands of the complex web ecosystems and best practices
    • Collaborates on creation of project plan and tasks for the team

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Five (5) to ten (10) years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions / business units preferred.
    • Five (5) plus years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
    • Five (5) years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
    • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in one or more roles in an online ecommerce or online support environments.
    • High level of expertise with Business Intelligence tools, five plus years, such as Brio, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Cognos etc with experience writing and tuning sql queries in an online or offline environment.
    • Must possess advanced Microsoft Office skills; with an emphasis on Excel.
    • Mid-level expertise in the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) / PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies and a minimum three years’ experience measure success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns / efforts.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
    • Strong programming skills, particularly in SQL, structured query language, and other common programming languages
    • In-depth knowledge, experience writing SQL programs and scripts that analyze and organize data
    • Drives analytics-related business requirements synthesized from multiple sources including product managers, development teams, and functional group members
    • Data visualization
    • Web analytics platforms - Adobe, CoreMetrics
    • Market, consumer research analysis
    • Developing, managing audience segments via SQL
    • Understanding of SEO and other major web traffic drivers
    • Expert level usability, and A/B and multivariate testing
    • Statistical Analysis System (SAS)
    • Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS)
    • Statistical regression models
    • Expert understanding of major web analytics platforms Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Core Metrics
    • Experienced leveraging Adobe Target, Optimizely for A/B and multivariate testing
