SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed for VARIAN, SEMICONDUCTOR EQUIPMENT, APPLIED MATERIALS at our GLOUCESTER MA LOCATION. We are the leading suppliers of ion implantation equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor chips in the world. This is an 18 month contract with a good chance of going permanent for the right individuals;

Description: 1.Develops code and documentation for a variety of difficult software projects, and design and implement bug fixes. 2.Designs a variety of difficult software projects. 3.Defines software specifications. 4.Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis and schedule. 5.Troubleshoots a variety of difficult software problems. Performs software tests on code and enhancements. 6.Interfaces with external customers regarding software issues. 7.Interfaces with external customers regarding software issues. 8.Compiles data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analysis and statements.
